Starting 2019 On Track

Something I have found over the years is that I tend to stick with an exercise routine if I keep a log of my activity. So, staying on top of an exercise routine being one of my New Year resolution for 2019, I decided to reprise this tradition.

January 1: Was too cold to conveniently walk outside and so dusted off the treadmill, which I have not used for about a decade, and walked c. 20-30 minutes on it at a good pace. Soundtrack: Blue Oyster Cult "Imaginos."
January 2: Walked 30 minutes on the treadmill at a good pace (e.g., 4 mph). Soundtrack: Blue Oyster Cult "Fire of Unknown Origin."
January 3: Walked 30 minutes on the treadmill at a good pace (e.g., 4 mph). Soundtrack: Mercyful Fate.
January 4: Walked c. 1.65 miles with a light load to the cul-de-sac and then to the mailboxes and back. Bright, sunny, warm, and cloudless.
January 5: Walked c. 1.65 miles with a light load to the cul-de-sac and then to the mailboxes and back. Weather was once again perfect and better than could be hoped for January!
January 6: Walked c. 1.2 miles with a light load to the cul-de-sac and back.
January 7: Walked c. 2.25 miles, top distance for the year to date, with a light load to the cul-de-sac and then to the mailboxes and back.
January 8: Was feeling achy and tired and so walked just c. 1.65 miles with a light load to the cul-de-sac and then to the mailboxes and back.
January 9: Walked 1.8 miles, first to mailboxes and back and then to cul-de-sac and back with a light load.
January 10: Walked 1.8 miles, first to mailboxes and back and then to cul-de-sac and back with a light load.
